The Peterson Dumesnil House Foundation is a 501©3 organization with a mission to preserve the Peterson Dumesnil House as a landmark, providing the neighborhood a sense of historical identity; to serve as a gathering place for Crescent Hill; to find economically viable uses for the house; and to maintain it for future generations.

The elected Board of Directors is responsible for managing the House and grounds, and the Foundation relies on donations and grants to fund the necessary upkeep for the estate.
