Upcoming Events at the Peterson Dumesnil House

Guess the Ginkgo Drop Contest

One of Louisville’s oldest and largest Ginkgo trees lives right behind the Peterson Dumesnil House—planted in 1863 and over 28 ft in circumference! Each fall, its thousands of fan-shaped leaves turn brilliant yellow and drop all at once after the first hard frost.

Think you know when the leaves will fall this year? Head to our Facebook page, comment with your guess, and you could win a set of PD House notecards featuring stunning John Nation photos!
